Introducing Ctrl Wallet: the evolution of XDEFI Wallet.
What is Ctrl?
XDEFI is rebranding to Ctrl.
Over the coming weeks (roughly July - September 2024), you will see us transition all XDEFI communications and websites to the new Ctrl brand.
With the rebrand, we are launching new iOS and Android apps, as well as a new version of our Chrome Extension wallet.
The transition process from XDEFI to Ctrl Wallet
XDEFI Wallet users will automatically update to Ctrl Wallet.
As an XDEFI user, you do not need to take any action. The wallet will automatically update (target date is in August / September), and your data and private keys will remain securely stored on your local machine.
Reminder: XDEFI (and Ctrl) never have access to your private keys or assets.

The Ctrl wallet beta will open up over the coming weeks, and we welcome your feedback on the new mobile apps and extension.
What does the rebranding mean for $XDEFI token holders?
We plan to migrate the $XDEFI token to a new $CTRL token in the coming weeks (est. August 2024).
The migration will be 1:1.
You will have plenty of time to migrate from $XDEFI to $CTRL token, so please keep an eye on our Twitter for the latest.

Why is XDEFI rebranding to Ctrl?
Our mission is to onboard the next 100 million users. 18 months ago we decided to accomplish this goal XDEFI needed to evolve. Our technology is best in class and our users love the product, but the brand and the user experience is far too technical to facilitate the next wave of users that will come on-chain.
We took the hard decision to rebuild not just the wallet, but the entire company from scratch. We became a design-led product company, and built new technology that could deliver the simplest and most powerful user experience.
